Liberty Apple Orchard is conveniently located near Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Troy and Highland, yet still situated in a rural setting.  The orchard is well mowed, easily accessible from our drive and ideal for photos of your family.  Opened only ten years ago, many trees are small and the limbs are low so even the littlest of hands can reach the fruit.  We have 18 varieties of apples from late August through November for family picking.

Liberty Apple Orchard also offers opportunities for:

  • Class or group field trips to pick apples and learn about growing an apple orchard (call ahead for arrangements: 618.659.9217)
  • Fundraisers for your youth group, mission group, or school
  • A source of healthy snacks for your fall festival/Halloween celebration.

In addition to providing a local U-Pick experience, we offer:

  • Apple cider donuts on many Saturday mornings
  • Apple cider from mid-September through October
  • Apple cider slushies
  • Apple sauce made from our apples, all natural, no sugar added
  • Apple butter made from our apples
  • Local honey from hives on the orchard
  • Caramel apples
  • Children's books in our schoolhouse
  • Mother & child homemade apple-print aprons
  • Apple crisp and apple cake mixes
  • Apple baked goods
  • Coffee mugs with Liberty Apple Orchard logo and famous quotes.

Look for us on Saturday mornings at the Land of Goshen Farmers' Market in Edwardsville, the Vine Street Market in O'Fallon and the Tower Grove Farmers' Market.

The orchard is owned and cared for by Lugene and Steve Miller, an "encorepreneur."
